NetApp appointed FlessnerSchmitz as their global lead agency for the cycling sponsorship activation. From the beginning of our work with NetApp, our mission was “From Amateurs to the Tour de France in Five Years”— a challenge that some considered impossible to realize. We rolled out our sponsorship activation around the world: in EMEA, the USA, and APAC. It included activities that returned an immense media branding value for NetApp as well as ones that impacted the cycling ecosphere more directly. Among many other projects, we were responsible for the global Sports PR to raise brand awareness, we realized high-touch events to intensify relationships, we created a promotional tool for industry events, we implemented all hospitality events, and we managed the internal communication with executives, employees, and the ecosphere.
