Global bike simulator promotion

We created a bike promotion tool for NetApp that activates visitors to IT industry and corporate events based on their favorite sport, cycling. The promotional tool was an indoor cycling competition: simply race for 400 meters, set the fastest time and win an attractive prize! The goal: get everybody on the bikes. This tool is an icebreaker for the sales experts to generate leads. Besides the creation of the tool, including our own registration and leaderboard software, we operated the on-site promotion. We took care of the technical setup, all security standards, and all logistics involved with the global implementation. We invited pro cyclists to highlight the promotion and facilitated all communications.

Result

5,000+ participants at 50 shows in 20 countries in Europe, the USA, and Asia made it the most successful trade show activity in NetApp’s history. The promotion had a significant impact within NetApp’s ecosphere: 79% of the Cisco Live visitors stated that their brand perception improved due to the cycling activities. (Source: Repucom)
